Account & Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your Clarity Coach account and associated personal data. You can choose from the two options below to submit your request.

Option A: In-App Account Deletion

The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Clarity Coach app:

  1. Open the Clarity Coach app.
  2. Go to the Settings screen (tap the settings/gear icon in the top-right corner of the main dashboard).
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Type the word DELETE in the final confirmation dialog and submit.

Note: Deleting your account in-app permanently clears your account, saved sessions, and cloud-synced data.

Option B: Deletion Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you may submit an account or data deletion request directly to our support email:

Please include the following information in your request:

  • The email address used to sign in to the app.
  • The type of request (Account Deletion, Data Deletion, or both).
  • (Optional) A short note with any feedback or explanation.

Important Information & Data Retention

  • Identity Verification: For security reasons, we may require verification of account ownership before processing your deletion request.
  • Data Deletion & Retention: Deleting an account removes your account and associated personal data from our active systems. However, limited data may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, or compliance reasons.
  • Subscriptions & Purchases: Subscriptions and purchase transactions completed via the App Store or Google Play Store are managed directly by Apple or Google under their respective store terms and policies. Deleting your account in-app does not automatically cancel active auto-renewing subscriptions.
  • Processing Timeline: We aim to process email deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe after successful verification of account ownership.
